BACKGROUND
Amidst competition from globally famous architects, PENSON was commissioned by the University of the Arts London to design their new Museum to house the Kuberic Archive for Film & TV.
PENSON quickly delivered a revolutionary scheme formed with recycled foam, which will enable one of the worlds most inherently sustainable buildings to materialise at one of London's famous locations.
The foam core construction developed by PENSON is light, highly insulative for retaining heat and preventing noise from entering internal galleries. The form of construction enables a beautifully curvaceous shape both internally and externally in one single construction process.
Following this scheme PENSON is now entrusted with various projects for the University.
