BACKGROUND
Cubic Transportation Systems Ltd manufacture and support the worlds ticketing systems for trains, tubes, car parks & other facets of daily life. If you've travelled on public routes, you've used one of their products or services such as the Oyster Card.

Cubic needed to relocate a business critical facility from central London to a location close to Gatwick airport & selected PENSON to design and manage the entire process at break-neck speed. It took just 3 months from "pen-to-paper" through to snag free "handover".

Despite an almost impossible time frame, PENSON still provided a highly designed space that ended up resembling the flight deck of Star Treks "Ship Enterprise".

Refusing to give in by buying off the peg fittings that did not have the look PENSON has created a large LG7 compliant bespoke box fitting. The clever bit is that the fittings are dimmable to allow adjustment for day & night time working hours. Other designers are now seeking to use PENSON's fittings on their own projects.

As MIX Interiors Magazine quoted - "Its just a shame that the doors don't make that "sshhhqqqccccc" noise when they open and close."
